i decided to try mw2 again today, which i haven't played on this laptop before. and omg, 1440x1900 and all settings maxed out, runs flawless.

i put every little detail i know to the lowest for black ops, and it almost seems to run shittier than when i have them set higher.

been trying everything, even the stupid batch file for low priority and all that. no matter what though, i get the stutters.

patches are only delaying the inevitable. This game will die, and mw2 will be the fps to play until mw3.. and then we will decide if it is good enough lol

Shit if it doesn't get fixed soon who knows you might be right Rookie. I haven't been able to play the game since last Friday (when they released their last patch). All the fucking freezing and crashing makes the game unplayable for me until the next patch that is going to fuck something else up.

I agree for Treyarch, but not necessarily Activision. They had some awesome games... Mechwarrior series / Tony Hawk series for example. It is their fault for not letting Treyarch have an Open Beta to Black Ops, but in the end Treyarch is the one that really made the game happen and blew their chance to be better than Infinity Ward.

My prediction: Once Modern Warfare 3 is made.... we'll all go back to hating Robert Bowling because Treyarch isn't likely to pick up the title from where it stands now. Unless by some miracle they clean up the game in its entirety before X-mas hits... because they won't pick up as many during Black Friday (Today) as they were planning with all the bad reviews floating around.
